Truck Buyer Acquisition Specialist – Automotive
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Truck Buyer / Acquisition Specialist to help source and purchase trucks for our inventory. This role focuses on identifying potential sellers, negotiating purchases, and ensuring we acquire vehicles at competitive prices.
Job Responsibilities
Source trucks from private sellers, fleets, auctions, and online marketplaces
Respond to inbound leads from people looking to sell their trucks
Contact potential sellers via phone, email, and online platforms
Evaluate vehicle condition, history, and market value
Negotiate purchase prices and close deals
Coordinate inspections, title transfers, and logistics
Maintain accurate records of leads and purchases in the CRM
Build relationships with local contractors, fleet owners, and businesses
Education and/or Experience
Experience in automotive buying, sales, or vehicle appraisal preferred
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of truck values, trims, and market pricing is a plus
Comfortable using CRM systems and online marketplaces (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, etc.)
Self-motivated and results-driven
Valid driver’s license
