Position Overview:

The Tow Truck Driver at Porsche Jackson is responsible for the safe, courteous, and timely transport of customer vehicles, including Porsche models, to and from the dealership. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to handling luxury vehicles with care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a flatbed or wheel-lift tow truck to transport customer and dealership vehicles safely.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure truck is in safe operating condition.

• Safely load and secure Porsche vehicles using manufacturer-recommended methods and equipment.

• Coordinate pickups and deliveries with the service department and customers.

• Respond to vehicle transport needs, including breakdowns, trade-ins, and service requests.

• Complete all required transport documentation and customer interaction logs accurately.

• Provide exceptional customer service during every vehicle interaction.

• Maintain the cleanliness, fueling, and routine maintenance schedule of the tow truck.

• Report any accidents, vehicle issues, or delays promptly to the Service Manager.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid Mississippi driver’s license with CDL (Class A or B preferred) and clean driving record.

• 2+ years of professional experience in vehicle towing or transport, preferably with high-end or luxury vehicles.

• Working knowledge of DOT safety regulations and best towing practices.

• Physically able to load/unload vehicles and work in outdoor environments.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to use GPS and mobile dispatch applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience transporting luxury or exotic vehicles.

• Familiarity with Porsche vehicle handling and care.

• ASE or technical certifications are a plus but not required.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily on-the-road and outdoor environments; exposure to weather elements.

• May require occasional weekend or after-hours work depending on service needs.
