Position Overview:
The Main Line Technician is responsible for performing advanced mechanical repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles, with a focus on delivering excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction. Candidates must possess at least some level of Nissan factory training or certification and a commitment to ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and electrical.
Perform manufacturer-recommended services and warranty repairs in compliance with Nissan guidelines.
Accurately complete repair orders, documenting work performed and parts used.
Communicate effectively with service advisors and teammates to ensure timely and accurate repairs.
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
Stay current with Nissan training and certification requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of experience as an automotive technician.
Nissan certifications or previous Nissan dealership experience required.
ASE certifications preferred.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
